Delivery

Step 1: Engagement

All good relationships start with a chat. In a free one-hour consultation, discuss with us your organisation, objectives, and challenges.

Understanding context: We learn about your current GIS setup, data assets, and business objectives to ensure recommendations are relevant and achievable.

Communication:  You’ll receive a clear summary of our initial discussions, including potential opportunities, indicative timelines, and next steps.

By the end of this stage, you’ll have a complete understanding of how we can add value.

Step 2: Scoping

Once your needs have been established, we will work to define the project scope in detail.

Collaborative Planning: We work alongside your team to prioritise deliverables, ensuring we target the highest-value outcomes first.

Technical and Resource Planning: We identify the tools, data sources, and skill sets needed for delivery, and flag any gaps early. This is where we will also identify any risks and dependencies.

Clear Documentation: You receive a written scope or statement of work (SoW) detailing objectives, milestones, responsibilities, and success measures.

Step 3: Project

The project can now move into delivery with a clear plan in place. Whether it's capturing data, systems integrations, or map production, we combine our expertise with strong project management to keep work on track.

Tailored Workflows: We adapt our approach to your organisation’s preferred methods, whether agile sprints or more structured project plans.

Regular Progress Updates: Weekly or fortnightly check-ins, shared dashboards, and open communication channels keep everyone aligned.

Quality Assurance: We build in testing, validation, and review points throughout the project, ensuring outputs are robust and ready for use.

Step 4: Review

Once the main project work is completed, we will conduct a thorough review with you.

Outcome Assessment: We evaluate deliverables against the agreed scope and KPIs, making sure objectives are fully met.

Stakeholder Feedback: Workshops or review sessions capture insights from all key users, helping refine solutions for maximum adoption.

Lessons Learned: We document what worked well and where improvements could be made, feeding into future GIS initiatives.

Step 5: Delivery

We believe delivery is more than sending over files, it’s about ensuring you can use and benefit from the work long after the project ends.

Final outputs are provided in accessible formats, with clear documentation and, where needed, training for your team. We can also provide ongoing support or maintenance, ensuring a smooth transition and continued value from your GIS investment.

In this stage, we:

  • Provide packaged deliverables and documentation
  • Transfer knowledge through training and handovers
  • Offer options for ongoing support and enhancement
